Currently, I am working on texturing the
werewolf. This is my first real photoshop project. I am trying to color
my cat's hair brown and
then put it on the werewolf. It is taking time to find the best way to accomplish this. I am a noob and hit the back button feverenly. It's actually
not
so bad. I could ask for help from the other Studio members, and they would be more than happy to help, but I learn better by experimenting. It takes
more time, but I better remember how to do things. Also, you never know what you may discover during this learning process. I know a few tricks now
that probably would have taken me months to discover. AHHH the joy of just pushing the button.
I see that the development of the game is going at a furious pace now. I am not a code writer or any of those other fancy/technical things, so I help
where I can and spend a lot of time playing the game. I make observations and suggestions when I can. I figure that I can be the most help in game
play--someone has to test those things! Seeing the changes on a daily basis is exciting and fun to experience.
We have been plesantly surprised and a little freaked out by all of the web traffic our little(HUGE) project had garnered. It has been very unexpected
and we are trying to keep up with it. All I can say is WOW when the stats are posted.
The project is moving along at a great pace as far as the game goes, and a scrambling pace as far as PR and web site updates go. I picture Malv and
Heather trying to find their boots like bleary eyed--slept 2 hours soldiers--in basic training. This is a great game and I can't wait for the finished
project when I can say---remember when that roof floated off the building?
